Terms and conditions

Booking, duty, cancellation, accident and liability conditions for Drivers On Wheel services.

Drivers on Wheel – Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking Confirmation: Driver booking will be confirmed only after sharing the required trip details and availability confirmation.
  2. Duty Hours: Local duty is calculated as per the booked package. Extra hours will be charged separately as applicable.
  3. Extra Hours: Any usage beyond the booked duty hours will attract applicable extra-hour charges.
  4. Night Charges: Duty extending into the specified night-charge period may attract additional night charges.
  5. Outstation Trips: Outstation duty charges are calculated on a per-day basis. Food and accommodation for the driver are to be provided by the customer or charged separately as applicable.
  6. Hill Station Trips: Hill-station trips may have separate driver charges due to longer travel time, terrain and driving conditions.
  7. Food & Accommodation: If the customer cannot arrange food and accommodation for the driver, applicable food and accommodation charges will be payable.
  8. Location Changes: Any change in the pickup, drop or trip location after booking may attract additional charges.
  9. Waiting Time: Unscheduled waiting beyond the agreed duty period may be chargeable.
  10. Tolls & Parking: Toll tax, parking fees, state taxes and other route-related charges, if applicable, will be paid separately by the customer.
  11. Trip Extension: Any extension of the trip, additional destination or change in itinerary will be charged according to the revised requirement.
  12. Customer Responsibility: Customers must provide accurate pickup, drop and trip information at the time of booking.
  13. Driver Safety: The customer must not ask the driver to drive under unsafe conditions or violate traffic rules.
  14. Traffic & Delays: Drivers on Wheel is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle restrictions, accidents or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
  15. Cancellation: Cancellation charges, if applicable, may depend on the timing of cancellation and the driver's assignment/travel status.
  16. Advance Payment: If an advance payment is applicable, the booking will be subject to the agreed advance-payment terms.
  17. Vehicle Ownership: Drivers on Wheel primarily provides professional driver services. Vehicle ownership/rental terms, where applicable, will be communicated separately.
  18. No Illegal Activities: The driver or vehicle must not be used for any illegal, unlawful or prohibited activity.
  19. Customer Conduct: Customers are expected to maintain respectful and professional behaviour with the assigned driver.
  20. Final Charges: The final payable amount may vary if duty hours, route, distance, locations or trip requirements change from the original booking.
  21. Service Availability: Driver assignment is subject to availability. In exceptional circumstances, Drivers on Wheel may provide a suitable replacement driver.
  22. Acceptance: By confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
